ASPR em Dia No. 01 – January/2023 – City Hall of São Paulo extinguishes Ad Inspection Fee

The City Hall sanctioned on the last Friday of 2022 the law that extinguishes the Ad Inspection Fee (TFA). This measure took effect on January 1, 2023.

Created by Law 13.474, of December 30, 2002, the TFA focused on the exploitation or use of advertisements on public roads or any areas accessible to the public, whether they be visual, sound, projection or leaflet advertisements.

The revocation was carried out by article 8 of Law 17.875 of 12/29/2022, with the following wording: “As of January 1, 2023, Law no. 13.474 , of December 30, 2002, with the Ad Inspection – TFA, the refund of sums collected under this heading is prohibited until December 31, 2022”.
